Where
Sullivan West Central High School
6604 State Route 52
Lake Huntington, NY
When
TONIGHT!!
Information Forum: 6:00 p.m.
Public Statement Hearing: 7:00 p.m.
What Kind of Things Can I Talk About?
In addition to whatever particular case you have against NYRI, Catskill Mountainkeepers has an excellent list of talking points: http://www.catskillmountainkeeper.org/node/634
How Do I Present a Statement Tonight?
It is not necessary to make an appointment in advance or to present written material in order to speak at the public statement hearing. Speakers will be called after completing a card requesting time to speak. The hearing will remain open and will continue until everyone wishing to speak has been heard or other reasonable arrangements are made.
What if I Don't Want to Speak?
Show up anyway. The larger the turnout, the stronger our case.
In addition to the public statement hearings, comments may be mailed to Jaclyn A. Brilling, Secretary, Public Service Commission, Three Empire State Plaza, NY 12223-1350. Your comments should refer to "Case 06-T-0650-NYRI Transmission Line Proceeding."
Toll-free Opinion Line: Comments may also be submitted through the Commission's Opinion Line at 1-800-335-2120. This number is designed to take comments about pending cases from in-state callers, 24 hours a day. Callers should select English or Spanish and press "1" to leave comments about the electric facility proposal.
Internet: Comments may also be submitted via the "PSC Comment Form" in the "Consumer Assistance" section accessed through the Commission's www.dps.state.ny.us
Web site or via the "Contact Us" link at http://www.AskPSC.com. Many libraries offer free Internet access.
